My first artifact is a gif from Giphy. The gif is from a small snippet of the show Arthur. In the show Arthur was very angry after his model plane was broken. His clenched fist showed his anger. Now the picture or gif of his fist has went viral as a meme. It is intended to portray frustration or anger, just as it was originally in the cartoon. Just the picture or small gif is used to show this anger, with not context it just lets the viewer know that anger is present.

My second artifact is the song Lucid Dreams by juice WRLD. The song was created in 2017 and samples the song by Sting, Shape of my Heart. The song is about heartbreak and other than the sampling of a guitar has no similarity to Shape of My Heart. The intent is to create an original song with underlining guitar from Shape of My Heart to help the background music. Music editing software would have been used to use this part in the song.

My third artifact is the song Changes by 2Pac. It samples the song, "The Way It Is" by Bruce Hornsby and the range. The song not only samples vocals for the chorus of the song, but it also takes the piano of the original to use as the beat for this song. The vocals are tweaked in this version but is meant to serve the same purpose. The intention of this song and use of the chorus to see how the black community is viewed in public, and how they are treated. This song functioned as not only a story of how African Americans are treated, but also a story to everyone that they can help make the world a better place by trying to fix the problems told in the song. Music producing software would have been used to link the two songs together.
