This is Dungeons and Dragons, and millions of minds have created the stories within the DnD books in their minds and on tabletops around the world. With that, came adventurers looking to create their own and come up with worlds unknown, quests never heard of, and adventures waiting to be tested.
Now over the years there have been a lot of remixes and refurbs of the DnD land. They mainly just use the mechanics of the game. Benji's Guide to Rentooki Island is one of those that use the mechanics but the adventure is a complete remix from the original. New characters, new places, and the story line is completely different. This is usual as
most dungeon masters create their own lands. As you see below Whispers of Starfall is another creation from a fan of DnD.
DnD is a set of books to run campaigns through the realm within DnD. These books first were published in 1974. The interest for new worlds came soon after, and with that came homemade worlds. Most new adventures and books for the DnD series is online and created digitally.
