This song is called Four Chords, written and performed by Axis of Awesome, released in July of 2011. The song is a mash-up of over 40 other songs that all share the same structure of chords, or chord progression. Some of the songs used include Elton John's 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight', John Denver's 'Take me Home, Country Roads', as well as Robert Burns' 'Auld Lang Syne.' Verses from these songs can all be sang in any order due to sharing the same structure.

The intentionality of this song was for entertainment purposes, as well as to showcase just how common the use of this particular chord progression has been through history. It was created using multiple different instruments, and was recorded digitally and uploaded to YouTube, and also made
available on apps like iTunes. The song's functionality was very is almost identical to its intentionality, being to entertain and expose the heavy use of the four chord progression we have all heard so many times without realizing.

The function it served it to tell the story of Beauty and the Beast, but to showcase it in a realistic setting.

This image is a meme posted on social media sites. It was created in February of 2022 in response to the war that started in 2022 between Russia and Ukraine. The image is remixing the scene from SpongeBob SquarePants where a character, Patrick, tries to open a door by saying "open sesame." This amounts to nothing, and he walks back saying he has done all he can do.

The intention of this meme is to poke fun at the United Nations for creating as post on Twitter in an attempt to stop something as big as a war between countries, but so far doing nothing more than that. It's medium is the Internet and social media sites, but is created by mashing up multiple different images and text. It's functionality is to show how the UN isn't actively doing anything to stop the war in the Ukraine, other that trying diplomacy through such a casual form of communication as Twitter.
