The Clifford Collection of manuscripts at the National Library of Australia, has 75 English and European manuscripts, including nine medieval volumes. It  ranges in date from 1250 to 1915, and is focused on Roman Catholicism. The collection was purchased by the National Library of Australia from the estate of the 11th Baron Clifford in November 1963. Material in each item ranges from single volumes to groups of papers on a particular subject. They have been listed in chronological order. The catalogue for the collection is not housed with the manuscripts; because it too, is considered an artifact, it is stored in the rare books collection.
